I'd make a new issue - I'd guess it needs some better timing numbers.

We have a better way to test this that we are using for anything involving soft 
commit, but the old auto commit tests have not yet been converted.

I was going to look at hardening the timing on this test somehow soon though - 
see if there was a quick fix.
