I was editing Lucene's HowToUpdateTheWebsite wiki page and noticed that none of the ReleaseTodo wiki page instructions refer to Grant's cron job (mentioned in the "Production Push" section on the HowToUpdateTheWebsite). I was curious whether that cron job was still working, so I took a look at the log in people.a.o:/tmp/lucene-nightly.log, and here's what I found:
A /www/lucene.apache.org/java/docs svn: Can't open '/www/lucene.apache.org/java/docs/tempfile.tmp': Permission denied svn: URL 'http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/lucene/dev/trunk/lucene/docs' doesn't exist So it appears that the cron job is no longer functional. Maybe, given that ReleaseTodo gives instructions for manually pushing the various website pieces, the cron job could be turned off and the description of it removed from HowToUpdateTheWebsite? Steve
