I agree completely; we should definitely proceed with Mike's improvements. A
big +1 from me.
I'm sorry if this wasn't clear. My comments on search mode are unrelated and I
didn't mean to confuse these with the improvements made. None of this is
necessary for Mike's improvements to be used, of course.
