I'm going to close this issue since the situation has been rectified since when
I created this issue:
* There is an invisible blank file in the example/work directory that Yonik put
there at r1133136 (trunk) and 3x branch as well. It's named .gitignore which
may be confusing.
* The /.gitignore file is present on trunk and 3x via LUCENE-3775. Dawid
created a custom script to generate it from the svn props.
I don't know of any more problems, and they can be dealt with as they come up
-- now that I have the power to do so ;-)
