Hi Dan, That page is the in-progress documentation for this: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-3304 which hasn't been committed and so it requires you check out Lucene/Solr and apply the patch. The class reference will be solr.SpatialRecursivePrefixTreeFieldType.
