I'm not sure - I'd have to think about it. Could be as simple as timing. If the
new leader candidate gets an updated cluster state fast enough, he won't even
consider the core that just went down when trying to become the leader.
Anyhow, for what I am seeing in my tests so far, I think have a solution that
works for now - just have to test it out.
