Nice Jan. Couple comments: 1. "You put documents in it (called "indexing") via XML, JSON or binary over HTTP."
The reference to "binary" in this way is odd, and likewise for the sentence that follows it. Perhaps: "You put documents in it (called "indexing") by sending them over HTTP in either an XML format, JSON or an efficient binary encoding." 2. You chose to capitalize a lot of words -- wouldn't be my choice as its suggestive that some things are well known concepts "Real Data Schema". But some aren't consistently capitalized. Consistency 1st, and I vote to remove all the excessive capitalization except for first letter of a bullet or headings where it's needed. I didn't read all of it; it's kinda long. ~ David ----- Author: http://www.packtpub.com/apache-solr-3-enterprise-search-server/book -- View this message in context: http://lucene.472066.n3.nabble.com/Update-Solr-website-with-description-of-4-0-features-tp4020176p4020360.html Sent from the Lucene - Java Developer mailing list archive at Nabble.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@lucene.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@lucene.apache.org
