Nice Jan.  Couple comments:

1.
"You put documents in it (called "indexing") via XML, JSON or binary over
HTTP."

The reference to "binary" in this way is odd, and likewise for the sentence
that follows it.  Perhaps:

"You put documents in it (called "indexing") by sending them over HTTP in
either an XML format, JSON or an efficient binary encoding."

2. You chose to capitalize a lot of words -- wouldn't be my choice as its
suggestive that some things are well known concepts "Real Data Schema".  But
some aren't consistently capitalized.  Consistency 1st, and I vote to remove
all the excessive capitalization except for first letter of a bullet or
headings where it's needed.
