If I understand correctly, SOLR-139, Support updateable/modifiable documents, is in Solr 4.0, but the issue is still open pending further enhancements. Since SOLR-139 is already in CHANGES.txt for 4.0, can I suggest that the issue be closed and any further improvements be separate issues to avoid confusion in CHANGES.txt?
