Attachment: LUCENE-3918.patch
Added an updated version of the patch containing changes relating to the
comments.
The major changes are:
Tests now extend LuceneTestCase
List<Integer> was replaced with a growable int array.
Instead of using a java Map object we are now encoding the positions
information in a DataOutput stream.
