This seems to be happening when "CheapBastard" is picked as the codec because
it doesn't take into account avoidCodec restrictions and when it hits the
avoided postings format it fails with an assumption error.
I get the same behavior from eclipse and from ant (seed C1D3B092C5CCB5EC, svn
trunk, r1451134).
