Luca i dont think anyone is working on it.
I tried about a week ago to do this, but I couldn't figure out how to do it
without making the api really ugly: I think thats the challenging part.
Since doing this custom formatting is an expert thing, I think its important
that its done in such a way that simple ordinary highlighting use cases don't
become more complicated.
