Hoss Man updated SOLR-4884:
---------------------------
Description:
Process for importing Solr Ref Guide export from LucidWorks into
cwiki.apache.org, based on the "[Adding a project
Space|https://cwiki.apache.org/INFRA/cwiki.html#Cwiki-AddingaProjectSpace]"
instructions from INFRA...
All steps to be taken by Hoss, who is already a member of the confluence-admin
group in CWIKI...
* Download the [ref guide 4.3
zip|https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/attachment/12585923/SolrRefGuide.4.3.zip]
provided by Cassandra as an attachment in parent issue SOLR-4618 to my local
computer
* use the "Remove Space" operation on the existing SOLR space to remove it...
** the space is currently empty except for some stub content
* Use the "Upload a zipped backup to Confluence" form on the Confluence Backup
admin page to upload & import that ZIP file into CWIKI
** https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/admin/backup.action
* Browse the newly created (dynamic) SOLR wiki space to sanity check that the
import seemed to have worked properly and the newly re-created SOLR space looks
correct
* Update the Space permisions:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/spaces/spacepermissions.action?key=SOLR
** grant total access to solr-admins and confluence-administrators (group)
** grant access to everything except "mail removal" and "space admin" to
solr-committers (group)
** grant view & export access to confluence-users (group)
** grant view access to autoexport (user)
** grant view & export to anonymous (anon)
** Remove any individual rights granted to my account by Confluence when the
Space was created.
** remove any other access that might have survived the import
* Goto Plugins, and Autoexport the initial site.

* Download the latest export ZIP file provided by Cassandra in SOLR-4618
(currently
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/attachment/12574593/SolrRefGuide4.1-ASF.zip
but recent IRC conversations with her indicate she should have an improved
version for solr 4.3 really soon) to my local computer
* Use the "Upload a zipped backup to Confluence" form on the Confluence Backup
admin page to upload & import that ZIP file into CWIKI
** https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/admin/backup.action
* At this point, a new (temporary) space should existing confluence named
"srg41" (or perhaps srg43 if we get an update from cassandra)
* Browse the newly created temp wiki space to sanity check that the import
seemed to have worked properly. *do not move forward if there is any sign of
trouble*
* use the "Remove Space" operation on the existing SOLR space to remove it...
* use the "Copy Space" operation on the new tmp wiki space to clone it into the
SOLR Space key
* verify that the newly re-created SOLR space looks correct
* use the "Remove Space" operation on the temp wiki space since it is no longer
needed
* Update the Space permisions:
