Ryan Ernst updated SOLR-4984:
-----------------------------
Attachment: SOLR-4984.patch
This patch removes the file.
I'm unsure why the newer log4j.properties was placed in resources/ instead of
etc/. It appears etc/jetty.xml still refers to it in etc. But when I moved it
there, log4j is failed to be initialized (no appender warnings in the console
starting the example). Maybe someone who worked on changing from JCL to log4j
can comment on the file location?
> etc/logging.properties in example should be removed

> I believe this used to be used when JCL logging was the default backend. But
> now with log4j being the backend, I don't think it is used. It should be
> removed to not clutter the example with unnecessary files.
