bq: I'm a bit confused because as of Lucene 4.0alpha, the PatternAnalyzer is
deprecated from misc package, but it's still present here in miscellaneous
package in Lucene 4.4 release.
Deprecated code is maintained through one major version. So it'll stay marked
as deprecate through all of 4.x and be eligible to be removed in 5.0. That way
people have time to adjust...
