You were mainly talking about XML, so i did not see you mentioning JSON, sorry. There is no support for handling JSON data at the moment. I just want to mention that there is no need for a new transformer tool when using XML. I mean that: people may send data that does not obey the schema. Transformer includes XPath for XML data and something like JSON Path for JSON Data. So, we can transform the data that fits schema. Such kind of improvement may remove some people's client side developments that is only responsible for transforming data to make it ready for indexing according to schema.
