There's still a failure in `TestRandomRegexps`, and I pushed another fix
relating to NRE I see being thrown.
There are some related failures in the code base, for example
`TestUTF32ToUTF8` and IIRC around the FST tests as well (tho they seem to be
passing now). I was trying to solve them using CodePoint methods but maybe your
approach could work there as well. Can you have a look?
