@shuitai A RC would still require allowing prereleases to install. But since it's been about a month since my last update... time for one anyways. We are currently working towards a beta 18 release, hopefully our last beta. We're trying to get the final breaking changes out of the way now, as users of this library expect stability, and we can't be breaking things with a point release without a really good reason. You can see our progress at https://github.com/apache/lucenenet/milestone/11 - we're 41% done with the next release at the time of writing this by issue count. There are plenty of items tagged up-for-grabs there that anyone is welcome and encouraged to submit a PR for to help us get it across the finish line, if it isn't already assigned or has an open PR. Just chime in on the issue that you'd like to work on it and we'll assign it to you. Once we get beta 18 done, I'd expect we could have one or at most a few RC releases, to finish up some of the non-breaking changes like documentation, benchmarks, and tests before the final release. I'm working on this nights and weekends to try to get this next beta 18 done, along with the hard work of @NightOwl888, and personally I'm pushing myself hard to try to have it done by the end of 2024.
