I'm happy to announce that our project was selected for GSoC this year, and that Nehan Pathan is the contributor that will be working with me on this project! Congratulations Nehan for your excellent proposal that was selected amongst a competitive field of submissions. And thank you to everyone that submitted a proposal this year - hopefully we'll have more projects available in the future!
Today starts the development cycle for GSoC, and Nehan has already been in high gear testing out the current Replicator code and setting up a demo project. I'll be working with him to come up with a plan, implementing the changes, and getting them PR'ed into (likely) a new repo for our project, which I'll discuss separately once we're ready. I'll provide another update at the next milestone, the midterm deadline of July 18th.
