Guys, I'd like to suggest moving this discussion to [email protected]

While in this particular case the decision could be pretty non-controversial
this is one of the very, very few cases where usage of a private mailing
list is warranted. No harm done -- just consider it to be part of the Incubator
curriculum.

Before I move the discussion though, I wanted to make sure that all the
initial committers are subscribed to [email protected]. It doesn't seem
to be the case. Please make sure you're subscribed by sending an empty
email to the following address:
   private-subscribe-[your ASF ID][email protected]
E.g. if my case it would've been:
   [email protected]
