This is what the little "taste-webapp" module already does. You give it a
Recommender implementation and it wraps it up in a deployable J2EE web app.
Drop it in Tomcat and access it via web services. It's intended to be about as
easy as it sounds there.
You're welcome to suggest changes to that but I think this is substantially
already done.
Not sure about dev@, can you maybe email us privately about what error you get?
you'd have to ask Apache in the end.
