OK, there aren't 12 values and they aren't uniform, so that's not the intent.
(With 0.5 added to the result) the output has mean 0.5, is truncated to [0,1],
and has standard deviation 1/6.
I tend to agree... probably needs some more massaging and such. As in all
things this can and should be reopened with updates. Marking its current status
in current form as wont-fix.
