That is nearly 2 miles from the train. Going north in traffic will be fairly heinous.
I would suggestion a place we could all take the train to if we are at the wrong end of the peninsula. There are several good places in Sunnyvale (there is a pub on Murphy street with a quiet upstairs area. Mountain View has a few places that are moderately loud. Palo Alto has several reasonable places such as the Empire Tap Room (but I don't know them as well as the earlier spots). All of these are easily walkable from the train.
