I haven't tested it yet. Theoretically Kryo serializes faster than traditional
java serialization (see
http://code.google.com/p/kryo/wiki/BenchmarksAndComparisons). Although this
might be true this patch is not intended to go into production and rather is
for Dhruv take a look and possibly use it in his project.
