Well, it may not do much harm if it is default off, but I think that we can do
much better for an outlier trimmer. This may help on a few data sets, but it
really is not a widely accepted thing to do for all the obvious reasons (most
notably that a single cutoff for all clusters regardless of size is misguided).
Surely there is a better strategy that doesn't re-use the canopy parameters.
