Reviewing patches is another one. Active participation on the dev and user 
mailing list would be a third one: It's great seeing you participate in the 
current discussion - I'd love to hear more feedback on how to engage current 
users in the development of Mahout, in the end one of the project's goal is to 
provide stuff that is needed by an active user base and is welcoming and open 
to 
new contributors.
