Load factor is one thing,I think it has more to deal with the processor cache.
Total Number of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 6 MB
I will refactor the benchmark further to run multiple sparsities (10k:1k,
100k:1k, 1M:1k, 10M:1k) and report back.
