Dmitriy Lyubimov commented on MAHOUT-1518:
------------------------------------------

Well the content is still not indexed in a sense that one cannot extract matrix
row or column by key out of a "matrix" attribute in an index-lookup time
(unless brought completely in-core as in the test code here). that's what i
meant.

Also the matrix isn't really a matrix in a sense that it cannot be subject of
algebraic operators. so calling that a "matrix" would be misleading too.

So i guess it is ok as algorithm-specific construct or a stop-gap solution but
not as a generic construct.

> The aim here is to provide some easy-to-use machinery to enable the usage of
> the new Cooccurrence Analysis code from MAHOUT-1464 with datasets represented
> as follows in a CSV file with the schema _timestamp, userId, itemId, action_,
> e.g.
> {code}
> timestamp1, userIdString1, itemIdString1, “view"
> timestamp2, userIdString2, itemIdString1, “like"
> {code}
