Just as a point of note, I've tried to clone your repo and am unable to do
that, I had to create a separate fork after logging into github and am working
off this fork:
https://github.com/skanjila/mahout-commits
Found the files you committed, how do you want to proceed, should I look at the
select and you look at the mutate?

some sample code for select and mutate that the tests can then execute against
