thanks a lot for the feedback.
a) We will add the missing.
b) We discussed the point whether the interface makes the solution to narrow or
not several times within our group. Our key motivation for introducing this
structure was to introduce an “anomaly detection process” that kind of guides
the user through the proposed steps.
Furthermore, we wanted to integrate the T-Digest in a way that it could be
directly used.
Would you suggest us to stick with the idea of the interface and try to make it
more general?
You know the Mahout community and user base best, if you assume that the
interface doesn’t solve a real problem we will, of course, refactor the fix
without the interface. However, maybe you have another idea for something we
could add in exchange and that could be interesting as well as useful to solve
the issue!
