ant make-core-deps downloads all core dependencies from fixed URLs and is thus
only guaranteed to work at the time of release. You can get all the
dependencies by downloading the -lib distribution instead.
As for the ant make-deps having problems, can you tell me your version of ant?
My ant version definitely has no difficulty with any of the make-deps downloads.
