The NTLM fixes I submitted to the Httpcomponents project are not yet released.
So we have a choice: either delay MCF 1.1 until HttpClient 4.2.3 has shipped,
or supply our own NTLM implementation that we can remove next chance we have.
In any case we need to do something.
