There is already a mode where the RSS connector indexes only metadata from the
feed, but does not actually fetch the feed itself. This is configured on a
per-job basis. You just tell it what RSS feed field to use as "content", e.g.
the "description" tag or the "content" tag. Look for the "Dechromed content"
tab.
