I no longer think it is necessary to do nightly publishing of javadoc; it's too
time-consuming, for one thing, because javadoc is now part of the dist area,
and also would be a challenge because it generates a *huge* list of diffs on
every publish. But just building the site is valuable. This gets done with
the ant targets "doc" and "site", which generates the amalgamated javadoc and
also the release documentation.
