Hi Graeme,

It is preferable to use the directory hierarchy similar to the
manifoldcf trunk if you intend to contribute your connector back to the
manifoldcf project.

Thanks,
Karl

Subject: Custom Repository Connector development
Hi,

Have been maintaining a custom repository connector with the source
merged into a checked out version of the manifoldcf source. Obviously
this is less than ideal when migrating to new versions (and was probably
a really bad idea to start with :-/).

Looking at the source for 'ManifoldCF in Action' I noticed that the
directory structure for the source is different from that of Manifold
itself.

Is the structure for the sample code for MiA considered best practice
for developing a custom connector given that at some point we'd like to
contribute the repository connector elements back into ManifoldCF?

Thanks,

Graeme
