Nicolas Belisle commented on CONNECTORS-779:
--------------------------------------------

Maciej. I could not find the "Everyone" group in eDirectory using LDAP.
However, my experience is very limited with eDirectory. I cannot say if this is
a standard setup.
I don't have a list of default groups for eDirectory other than "Everyone" and
"noboby" (an empty group, so not an issue).

Maybe, you could add a check box (less risks for security), than make a tab if
there's a request for it.

> We had an issue with authorization using Novell eDirectory.
> The group "Everyone" was in the index (field allow_token_document), but would
> not be listed using "mcf-authority-service/UserACLs?username=userID". No
> configuration change seemed to solve it.
> We added it manually to
> org.apache.manifoldcf.authorities.authorities.ldap.LDAPAuthority
> line 316 : theGroups.add("Everyone");
