JCIFs supports SMB requests for permissions from any given path. Have you
checked to be sure that the permissions returned do not include the
folder-level permissions already?
If not, ManifoldCF's RepositoryDocument class does include a way of specifying
folder-level permissions for a document. But because there are many possible
folders, and each of them must provide a Lucene query clause, the Solr plugin
does not handle this. It has no good way of discovering the set of folders
because that's not in the solr index.
