I do quite a number of file system crawls here, against hsqldb, with zookeeper.
I have not seen the errors you describe. So the first order of business is to
identify why this is failing for you. Can you describe more completely your
setup? Specifically: are you using multiple agents processes? Are you using
multiple machines? Are there errors in the manifoldcf.log? Can you send us
those errors and any corresponding stack traces? How long do the jobs run
before dying? How many files are you crawling? What operating system is this?
What version of ManifoldCF is this? Are you using any connectors you have
developed yourself?
