Hi,
The only way this can be a gsoc 2016 project is if the student has access to a
modern Livelink installation. Livelink is a proprietary system, which I think
the gsoc 2015 students last year who inquired about the project did not know.
If you have access to a modern Livelink server, on the other hand, we'd be
happy to have you work on it for a gsoc 2016 project.
