Your suggested error message seems nice to me.
I'am curious about the {{xhr.readyState}}. What is the idea behind checking
that too besides {{xhr.status}}?
According to the spec {{readyState}} can assume values between {{0-4}} (just
asking because i'm not the expert here ;))
