those images are optimized for file size not for 'eye candy' because their purpose is to be placed on high traffic.
some of them have the same style with some of the images in "soon-to-be-official" splash-screen contest because i feel the necessity for a consistent look and feel.
i called the images 'prototypes' because they lack an important component: the marketing slogan and i haven't adventured to compose it myself.
