I agree that the Art Project should be the place where materials are 
developed and selected. That's the ideal. Coordinated artwork is important. 
Many of us have been asking for coordinated artwork materials for months 
now. We need it, and we want it!

BUT --
*Any* artwork (unless truly awful, and I've seen no evidence of that) is 
better than *no* artwork, which is what we seem to have now.

If materials take too long to appear from the Art Project, then the rest of 
us have a choice: do our own (banners, posters, business cards, whatever) 
to fill our needs *now*, or have nothing to use when an opportunity to 
promote OOo arises. We absolutely need a rapid-response kit, and we needed 
it last week.

By all means, get the Art Project people involved -- they are a valuable 
resource. They should be involved. But don't let the need for official 
approval slow down the rapid-response aspect. Choose something now. Replace 
it with something else later. No big deal, from my POV.
