It may not be 'Official' but the gaining the interest of developers in the OOo format is essential to it's uptake, In breaking into government and large corporation markets. If this book which is availlable under the GPL and with a link directly to the download is not placed very near to the 'Official' book list then this is probably one of the stupidest marketing errors I have ever heard about. For clarity all HTML documents are now moving to XHTML that means the entire web. It is then one more step to XML which is what OOo is based on. Do You realise what that will mean for government and corporate document searches ?
