OK. This is also a discussion for [EMAIL PROTECTED] and I am CC'ing them as
they may offer some input following their previous discussions about
logo fonts.

The questions for them:
- What is the list of pretty similar free fonts to be used in OOo Logo ?
- Where can we download them ?

Daniel made a suggestion, and from looking at it it would seem to me to be the best choice. That font is Toga, which is a variant of Vera (essentially semi-compressed).

Thanks!
We'll look for it. We have to experiment especially with those high resolution logos ready for print.

I personally would recommend completely replacing the font in the logo with Toga.

I once played around with packages for font creation and editing and since these discussions about OOo Logo font an idea came to me:

"How about creating a free font named OpenOffice.org ?" :-)

Best, Cristian
