Easy. Hold on to the money and use it yourself in an appropriate way when
the time comes. For example, next time there's a conference, bring CDs, or
help sponsor someone to go, or get together with a few people to make a
banner.

If you are concerned about the money being spent specifically on
marketing, my advice is you take care of the details directly. Nothing can
beat that.

Heck, start a money collection box. Setup a PayPal account called "Adam's
OOo Marketing fund" and see if anyone donates a bit.

Cheers,
Daniel.
