Hello
When I was looking for accounting packages available for Linux, I was introduced to Quasar. Quasar is now GPL and is available for Windows and Linux, see:
http://linuxcanada.com/quasar.shtml
"I think Quasar, with other software like OpenOffice, would make an absolutely ideal package to run most small businesses." - Brad Pepers, Linux Canada in: "Quasar Accounting finds move to open source adds up".

There is commercially supported version available too for a fee.
Unfortunately, it is not across all platforms that OpenOffice.org
supports. But it may assist with the promotion of OpenOffice.org into
SMEs that are currently using Windows and may wish to evaluate OSS, even Linux.
I'll add this to issue 28612. If you would like to follow this up or other complementary products, please let me know.
All the best Jacqueline McNally Lead, OpenOffice.org Marketing Project
