This great news, even though it should be built into Google Desktop search by default.
Now that thunderbird is supported as well I can finally use a desktop search engine. Is there a page showing what desktop search engines support openoffice.org ? I know yahoo search works with some tweeking of settings. The linux desktop search options would be beagle (http://www.gnome.org/projects/beagle/) and CollectiveCortex (http://www.collectivecortex.com/htm/cc_download.htm) which is Java based, as well as grep of course, and probably others.
