With DRM, businesses lose control over their data and potentially allow a third party to monitor their computer-based activities. You can argue about who the third parties are and their relationship to your business, but the fact is they are outsiders who can monitor the social network from the inside using DRM. This monitoring includes, at the very least, a map over who's working and communicating with who. Though it's being marketed as a control item, if your company doesn't want outsiders to get wind of what's going on, then DRM should be avoided.
