I found a forum at MozillaZine. I'll write something and post it there. I think we should try to popularize the idea a bit and see if it gains any traction anywhere.

I did not know that you could view OpenDocument files in MSIE. How does it work? (I don't have IE, but I am interested in the method, anyway.)

This seems logical, Ben. In fact, it seems so obvious now that you mention it, that I wonder why it hasn't been done before. Are they unforeseen obstacle, I wonder? Or is it simply a matter of shortage of developers?
