Ok. I was thinking more along the lines of:
http://www.spreadopenoffice.org
being available in many languages from the one place, rather than sub-sites. Maybe my view of things in this regard was too simple?
The OOo project is setup in a way that a language-based organization probably makes sense. I think that www.spreadopenoffice.org should be a re-direct site, like un.org, or wikipedia.org. It would have links to various languages (e.g. "Bienvenido", "Bienveue", "Welcome", ...).
OOo's NLC community is very strong, and we want to encourage its development.
Incidentally, I think Alexandro would be a great person to run with this. He has a lot of good ideas, and the passion to make it happen. :-)
