What kind of booth is it? Is it a Sun booth or is it an OpenOffice booth?
A Sun booth with areas for the different Sun sponsored open-source
projects including OpenOffice.org. My understanding is that there will
be signage guiding you to the OpenOffice.org area.
No hidden agenda's behind this, but Sun should consider, if not
already happening, staffing the OpenOffice booth with at least 1
volunteer from the project. I think this would show that it's not
just Sun working on this and they really support their volunteers.
Just my 2 cents.
Mmmm, Sun are part of the project.
Sun are making available an OpenOffice.org part of their booth (as
they have done many times before) and are inviting volunteers to be
booth dudes/babes.
Sun is already supporting OpenOffice.org by providing a space at
OSCON. Also, this often means that there are passes available or
required to attend the booth so you get to see the rest of the
exhibition too.
All the best

Lead, OpenOffice.org Marketing Project
I was thinking if we can collect money to buy marketing stuff (which is cheap
btw, less than 200 dls) and just spend on shipping to any event around the
world.
I means is not really that much money specially when you have a local
community
of 10+ people (would be around 10 dls per guy). If they are commited enough to
go to the event, they will sure commit themselves to spend the extra buck.
